New England winters are hard on UGGs. Road salt, slush and puddles leave white tide marks on the suede and flatten the wool inside. We clean sheepskin boots by hand to bring them back.
600 Loring Ave, Swampscott, MA 01907 — walk-ins and drop-offs welcome
Sheepskin boots cannot go in a washing machine — water soaks the sole seam, the suede stiffens, and the wool mats permanently. Cleaning them properly means working the whole boot by hand with products made for sheepskin, then drying them slowly in shape.
We treat salt and water staining across the whole panel rather than spot-cleaning it, so you do not end up with a clean patch surrounded by a dirty one. The wool lining is deodorised and re-lofted so the inside feels like a boot again, not a flattened insole.
Very old boots with worn-through soles or split seams have limits, and we will tell you at the counter if a pair is past saving rather than take your money. Bring them to 600 Loring Ave or call 978-745-4975.
Walk-ins and drop-offs are always welcome during business hours.
